Helen got an early Christmas present from her orthodontist, Dr. Hilgers, yesterday.... braces on her top teeth! She is soooo not excited and her teeth are killing her today so she is on a soup and protein drink diet for a couple of days. I told her she should have chosen red and green bands for Christmas but she went with her favorite color-blue. So if you see her sad face just know she isn't sad just sore! Merry Christmas sweetie!
She looks very grown-up! Both our kids have had braces twice--partials early, then full braces later. Advil is a wonderful thing!
